ENA II active neutralisers
Eliminate unpleasant odours and harmful chemicals
ENA II active neutralisers are innovative devices
designed to effectively remove unpleasant odours and harmful chemical substances.
ENA II active neutralisers are devices designed for the effective removal of unpleasant odours and harmful, often toxic, chemical substances emitted from wastewater. Years of experience, expertise, and research have enabled a new approach to active air purification technology and its control at installation sites.
If you are looking for a proven way to remove unpleasant odours and harmful chemical substances, the ENA II Active Neutralisers are the solution for you.
Benefits of use
Effective pollution neutralisation – top-quality materials, including activated carbon beds, effectively purify the air.
Resistance to chemical degradation – the use of HDPE and stainless steel ensures the long service life of the devices.
Intuitive operation and monitoring – easy operation and remote supervision through the Bumerang system.
Low operating costs – modern fans and control systems minimise maintenance expenses.
Reliability in all conditions – the purification process using activated carbon operates efficiently, regardless of temperature variations and hydrogen sulphide concentrations in wastewater.
Application
Neutralisers effectively eliminate odours and toxic substances (fragrant and odourless, toxic to humans), which are produced in sewage infrastructure facilities during transportation, storage of wastewater, and during the cleaning process.
High air purification efficiency and the versatility of the technology enable the installation of the devices in:
- sewage pumping stations,
- sewage pumping plants,
- wastewater treatment plants,
- composting sites,
- biogas plants,
- solid waste sorting and disposal sites,
- expansion wells and dispersion systems.
Facilities emitting pollutants other than those from wastewater require custom device selection by Ecol-Unicon engineers.
Available device types
- Active neutraliser with integrated fan and control system
- Active neutraliser without a built-in fan, designed for flow rates from 50 to 1,500 m3/h, which can be installed in existing or planned ventilation systems. It is recommended to connect it to a chemically resistant fan with appropriate pressure – contact us for assistance in selecting the right one!
The neutraliser selection calculator is a tool that enables the precise selection of the appropriate device based on specific requirements. Utilising our research, knowledge, and experience in odour and chemical substance neutralisation technology, the calculator allows for the independent selection of a neutraliser, e.g., during the design of a ventilation system or the expansion of a water and sewage network.
The selection sheet and intuitive interface, which allows for quick modification of any parameter, are just some of the features that distinguish our tool. It helps you to be sure that the neutraliser you choose will be perfectly suited to your needs.
The calculator is dedicated to solutions requiring a flow range of 20 to 1,500 m3/h.
CalculateConstruction and installation
The device consists of a body made of HDPE and stainless steel components that are resistant to weather conditions, chemicals, and UV radiation. The body is filled with an activated carbon bed. Air flows through a chemically resistant fan, and the control process takes place in the power and control chamber.
Inside, there is a perforated grate with a polyamide mesh that prevents the carbon bed from entering the expansion chamber. Air enters through a pipe and exits through a fan mounted on the sealed roof of the device. The neutraliser is equipped with a drain valve to remove condensate that forms in the expansion chamber, particularly during the autumn and winter months.
Operating method
Ecol-Unicon active neutralisers remove air pollutants through chemisorption on activated carbon, passing air through a bed that absorbs odours and toxic substances, trapping them within its structure. The control system allows precise regulation of the fan’s rotational speed. For safety, the device is equipped with a start/stop switch, which allows for the disconnection of power, e.g., during maintenance work or in the event of a malfunction.
Operation
To ensure the correct operation of the neutraliser, it is necessary to regularly check the condition of the fan, cables, and control panel components. At the fan’s nominal output, it is recommended to replace the carbon bed once a year. Regular maintenance inspections, according to the Operation & Maintenance Manual, should be performed by an authorised Ecol-Unicon service team to maintain the safe and reliable operation of the device.
