Customer needs

The client struggled with the excessive emission of odour and toxic substances from the newly created sanitary sewage network, including as part of the project “Organizing the water and sewage management of the Słupia and Łupawa rivers in the Sierakowice Agglomeration” and “Construction of a sewage system with connections and sewage pumping stations in the villages of Mściszewice, Węsiory, Kistowo, Skoczkowo, Bukowa Góra and Żakowo in the Sulęczyno commune”.

Applied solutions

Over 100 pcs of EMF-600/570/CH sub-manhole filters with active carbon filling. Additionally, a sublimation layer was used to increase the effectiveness of removing odours.

Applied solutions

Dry well pumping station with a 3-pump system
with a capacity of  Q = 310 m3/h.

Retention module with dimensions:

  • module diameter = 2.80m
  • module height = 3.20m

The pumping station is equipped with, among others in:

  • inlet-pressure piping with a diameter of 250mm
  • 2-channel solids separators are located outside the retention module (3 pieces)
  • a pneumatic system consisting of a compressor, air preparation station and 3 pneumatic valves with a diameter of DN200

The pumping station was installed in the DZB tank with the following parameters:

  • internal diameter: 5.50m
  • height = 7.25m

Applied solutions

The value of the investment, which lasted about 1 year, is  5 457 404 PLN. The contract was carried out by the Technological Execution Department of the Ecol-Serwis Division.

The investment of reconstruction of the pumping station was implemented by the Mrągowo Commune with the participation of EU funds under the project: “Modernization and expansion of sewage and water supply systems of the Mrągowo agglomeration under measure 2.3” Water and sewage management in agglomerations “priority axis II” Environmental protection, including adaptation to climate change “Operational Program Infrastructure and Environment 2014 – 2020.”

As part of the task, works related to the assembly of modern technological, electrical and I&C installations were completed. The works also included the delivery and assembly of pumps with a capacity of Q = 450 m3/h and a power of P = 75 kW and pipelines made of AISI 316L steel, construction of a ventilation and heating system based on heating and ventilation units.

A video monitoring system with an alarm system and data transmission was also installed. The pumping station serves the entire city of Mrągowo, therefore all works were carried out with the uninterrupted operation of the pumping station using emergency systems. All technological and sanitary works were carried out without the participation of subcontractors. Installation capacity H = 125 l/s, H = 56 m.
