The pumping station is equipped with:

 

  • Chamber – made of HDPE. There is a hole in the cover equipped with a cast iron manhole cover

  • Inlet and outlet piping with a diameter of 100 mm

Applied solutions

The system includes:

 

  • 6 groups of tanks – 1720 m 3 in total, all with similar equipment
    and metering
  • valve with electric drive and radar water level measurement,

  • separator with a bypass and a tank for oil derivatives,

The scope of work included:

 

  1. Development of a local precipitation model, local reference hyetograms and computer hydrodynamic models.
  2. Development of complete project documentation and obtaining the necessary arrangements, decisions, permits for the performance of the contract.
  3. Delivery and installation of the Bumerang Smart software along with the necessary equipment for its operation, controlling water retention rainfall:
     

    • electrically controlled drives on gate valves
    • quality monitoring of retained rainwater
    • network controlled valves
    • monitoring of the filling of the cross-sections of the rainwater drainage system below the tanks
    • installation of a rain gauge and a weather forecast monitoring subsystem

  6. The system will control and optimize the operation of the retention reservoirs installed along the existing storm sewage collectors using the latest weather data and specially created models hydrodynamics.

Project details

Works on the construction of the Bar-Boljare highway (169.2 km) officially started on May 11, 2015. The construction of the priority section Smokovac – Uvač – Mateševo ​​was planned for four years. According to official information, the contractor was to complete the construction of a 41-kilometer section with 45 bridges and flyovers and 32 tunnels within 48 months. Our partner from Bosnia and Herzegovina – manufacturer of concrete products BINIS, supplied for the aforementioned project approximately 30 coalescence separators with a nominal flow of 40 to 150 l/s using technological equipment from Ecol-Unicon, among various road construction products of their own production. We are very proud to cooperate with such a partner and to have an opportunity to use our products in such huge projects.

 

Scope of delivery: 30 coalescence separators (including separators with bypass), nominal flow from 40 to 150 l/s, manufacturer of the ESK and ESK-BII technological equipment for separators- Ecol-Unicon, manufacturer of concrete chambers – Binis, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Within the next few weeks, the brand new settling tanks and separators will be installed and run into operation. Using our separators guarantees the highest treatment level thanks to the full compliance with the EN-858 norm. Ecol-Unicon first-class separators will ensure at least 5 mg/l at the outlet even for extremely high flows.
