Modular prefabricated DZB reinforced concrete tanks

High quality and reliability

Modular prefabricated DZB reinforced concrete tanks
DZB

Ecol-Unicon specialises in the production of modular prefabricated DZB reinforced concrete tanks

These tanks are used in stormwater, sanitary, and industrial sewage systems. They are particularly useful where it is crucial to ensure tightness and resistance to damage and challenging soil and water conditions. These tanks are often used for storing water, sewage, and other liquids.

Benefits of use

Modular construction – the tanks feature flexibility in dimension configuration, allowing them to be tailored to specific parameters, functions, and purposes.

Versatility of installation – the tanks can be adapted for installation in both green areas and trafficked zones, meeting the requirements for installation in trafficked areas (load class according to PN-85/S-10030).

Ease of installation – modular prefabricated reinforced concrete tanks are easy to install, reducing installation time.

Efficient operation – prefabricated units with slopes minimise the accumulation of solid matter, making it easier to keep the tank clean.

Application

Durable, modular prefabricated units have universal applications in sewage systems. They can be used as:

  • retention tanks,
  • infiltration tanks,
  • tanks with a system allowing the use of rainwater,
  • dry chambers (pump plants enclosures, booster stations, water meter chambers),
  • slurry tanks,
  • bodies for pre-treatment and treatment plants,
  • firefighting tanks.

Tank types

Depending on the type of installation, Ecol-Unicon’s tanks can be divided into vertical and longitudinal types.

Vertical tanks

Vertical tanks

Vertical tanks are constructed from two base closing elements, extension elements adjusted to the tank’s height, and a cover.

Characteristics of vertical tanks:

  • installation depth – up to 10 m below ground level,
  • tank height – up to 10 m,
  • can be installed as above-ground, underground, or partially buried tanks,
  • the size and capacity of the final tank can be configured freely,
  • example application: pumping station housings, separators.

Longitudinal tanks

Longitudinal tanks

Longitudinal tanks consist of oval or flat closing elements, extension elements, and covers.

Characteristics of longitudinal tanks:

  • Internal height – up to 3.0 m,
  • tank length – up to 200 m,
  • large available tank capacities – up to 8000 m3,
  • the ability to set tanks parallel to each other – wall to wall.

Construction and installation

The tanks are constructed from reinforced concrete modules and are available in various versions in terms of height, width, and length. Different material versions are available with parameters tailored to customer needs. They consist of oval or flat closing elements, extension elements, and covers. They can also be equipped with structural supports.

The tightness of the connections between the vertical elements of the tank is ensured by elastomeric seals and steel couplings. At the connection point between the side wall and the base, a monolithic slope is made, eliminating the formation of sediment fossils in these places and facilitating tank cleaning.

Manholes are mounted on the covers, made from rings of smaller diameter, topped with a cover and an appropriate class manhole cover. In the manhole opening to the retention chamber, stainless steel ladders are installed according to PN-EN 14396, enabling descent to the bottom of the tank.
