Bumerang Smart
Smart Water and Sewage Monitoring and Management System
Bumerang Smart is an innovative software, designed for managing the operation of devices and facilities within water and sewage systems. It is also an integral component of HYDROZONE retention tanks.
Monitoring and remote control of devices installed in the sewage network are essential components of modern water and sewage systems, contributing to an increased level of flood protection, enabling better management of retention and the use of rainwater, as well as economical and efficient management of the entire water and sewage network. Data from monitoring not only supports the ongoing control of the system but is also used in long-term plans for the development of operational activities.
Monitoring and remote control installations are supplied complete with devices manufactured by Ecol-Unicon, but can also cooperate with other facilities in the rainwater and sanitary sewage networks.
Benefits of use
minimisation of the need for local facility checks and more precise scheduling of maintenance,
increased environmental safety by shortening the response time of technical services in the event of a failure,
reduction of lost retention and utilisation of in-situ water (for rainwater sewage systems).
In the facilities of the rainwater, combined sewer, and sanitary sewer systems, measuring devices, such as level probes and flow meters, are either already present or installed, along with remotely controlled actuating devices, such as pumping stations, valves, or sluice gates.
The system continuously presents the current status of monitored facilities and, in case of unwanted events, generates appropriate alarms and has the ability to automatically initiate processes.
Additionally, the system retrieves data from weather services and local rain gauges, enabling more effective management of facilities and rainwater – making decisions, for example, about emptying retention tanks before an impending downpour.
Bumerang Smart also allows for the collection of real measurement data to perform or optimise the hydrodynamic model for the rainwater sewer system.
