This project involved the construction of special-purpose and administrative buildings, as well as the reconstruction of a section of the A3 main road between Vilnius and Minsk (from 32.910 km to 33.668 km). It also included the redevelopment of an administrative building located in the Vilnius district, at 26 Pasieniečių Street in Medininkai. As part of this strategic investment near the Lithuania–Belarus border, Ecol‑Unicon, in partnership with Prespa, was honored to supply a brand-new rainwater treatment line for the Boar Crossing between Lithuania and Belarus. Three sets of settling tanks and high-efficiency separators were delivered and fully prepared on schedule to support the project’s environmental protection goals.

Scope of work

Ecol‑Unicon delivered and installed a complete stormwater treatment system for the newly reconstructed transport corridor and its supporting infrastructure. The scope included:

 

  • EOS 2000/5,0 settling tanks allow for effective pre-treatment through sedimentation, protecting downstream systems from solids overload.
  • ESK coalescence separators are used to remove petroleum derivatives and suspended solids from rainwater. These separators comply with PN‑EN 858 Class I and include integrated sedimentation and oil retention chambers.

All installations are based on prefabricated, concrete structures adapted for ground or road-load installation, ensuring durability, quick assembly, and minimal maintenance.

The project used reliable and efficient solutions tailored to handle runoff from high-traffic infrastructure while ensuring environmental compliance:
